We are pleased to announce that Jonathan Magnusson, PhD Student in Cybersecurity and Network Analysis at Karlstad University, will be joining our Tech! segment at Nordic Domain Days 2025.

In his presentation "SweDNS: Evaluating Privacy and Security of DNS Resolvers used in Sweden," Jonathan will share insights from extensive research conducted using RIPE Atlas probes across Sweden. His study examines the critical balance between privacy, security, and functionality in DNS resolver infrastructure—a cornerstone of today's internet.

Using data collected in October 2024, Jonathan's research provides a comprehensive analysis of DNS resolver security and privacy standards across Sweden. His findings offer valuable insights for network operators, policy makers, and privacy advocates working to enhance DNS security in the Nordic region and beyond.
