We are happy to announce that EURid, one of our most loyal and valued partners, is returning to Nordic Domain Days.
EURid has been part of the NDD community since the very beginning, and their continued presence year after year means a great deal to us. It is the kind of long-term commitment that reflects what Nordic Domain Days is all about: a community that keeps coming back because the conversations, the connections, and the people are worth it.
For those less familiar, EURid is the not-for-profit organisation that manages the .eu, .eu (Cyrillic), and .eu (Greek) top-level domains under contract with the European Commission. The .eu domain ranks among the ten largest TLDs in the world and has become a trusted symbol of European identity online. For businesses and organisations across Europe, a .eu domain communicates stability, trustworthiness, and a clear connection to the European market.
EURid works with over 700 accredited registrars worldwide and has long been committed to the highest standards in data security, holding ISO 27001 certification since 2013 and EMAS environmental accreditation since 2012. These are not just badges on a wall. They reflect an organisation that takes its responsibilities seriously, both to its registrants and to the broader internet ecosystem.
This year is also a special one for .eu, which celebrates its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, EURid is hosting EuroDIG, the European Dialogue on Internet Governance, in May. It is a fitting milestone for a TLD that has grown to become a cornerstone of Europe's digital identity.
We look forward to welcoming the EURid team back to Stockholm and to continuing a partnership that has been part of the NDD story from the start.
